Analysis, cleaning, protection and sanitizing

Analysis before and after the operation
Phase 1
Evaluation and control of the cleansing phase using a blacklight. The blacklight produces ultraviolet wavelengths that can make otherwise invisible stains visible to the human eye. The ultraviolet waves react with a variety of compounds (including B vitamins, chlorophyll and quinine, blood, urine, saliva, various substances and foods, etc.) that make their molecules appear blue, green, and other colours.
PHASE 2
Microbiological analysis by swabbing, before and after the operation
CLEANING
Cleaning decreases the microbial load. The elimination of the dirt removes the microorganism’s breeding ground. This phase is mandatory before disinfection and sterilization. To remove the dirt, energy must be supplied to the system and this energy may be physical (mechanical), chemical, or thermal (heat). Then it is possible to proceed with:
Physical cleaning
it consists of mechanically removing large residues and rinsing with warm water immediately after completion. The cleaning action uses mechanical friction and water pressure (IBIX Selective Micro-Air-Abrasion System).
Chemical cleaning
Use of substances that modify the surface tension of the substrate. Generally, grease and dirt stick to the surface. Cleaners loosen the surface tension between the dirt and the surface, promoting its removal. Since sodium bicarbonate is slightly alkaline, using it with the IBIX machine performs a delicate yet deep chemical cleaning of the surface.

CLEANING WITH THE IBIX WATER AND SODIUM BICARBONATE SYSTEM
Designed to clean and efficiently remove contaminants (grease, emulsifying oils, varnish, PVC traces, tyre tracks, etc.) from gears, machinery, systems, stainless steel drums and rollers in the paper-making and wood (MDF) industry, heat exchangers, stainless steel or aluminium containers, belt conveyors, engines and transmission components, access floors, structures for solar panel production, etc. Cleaning with sodium bicarbonate promotes sanitation, makes the surface clean and suited to sanitizing, and is the first major step in the decontamination process.

SANISHIELD CHO
A balanced solution containing peracetic acid, water, hydrogen peroxide, and acetic acid, properly stabilized to ensure good storage at room temperature, SANISHIELD CHO in the indicated use solutions does not produce foam and may be used on stainless steel, galvanized iron, tinplate, polyethylene, Teflon, enamel, synthetic coatings, rubber, and Styrofoam. It is used to sanitize tank plants and storage pipelines, in the food industry, in bottling, and in papermaking. SANISHIELD can also be used to sanitize membranes used for reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, microfiltration, and sanitation of waste water from civil sewage treatment plants. Diluted in an aqueous solution, it decomposes entirely and relatively quickly.
SANISHIELD H2O2
It is a stabilized hydrogen peroxide-based concentrated additive able to provide a booster effect on contact with the alkaline environment. Hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution tends to spontaneously and slowly transform into water and release oxygen. These reactions are promoted by the presence of metallic ions and basic pH. With its acidic pH and the presence of sequestering particles, SANISHIELD H202 is a highly stabilized solution. The booster effect is creating by putting SANISHIELD H202 in contact with the alcoholic environment: this sudden change in pH instantly promotes the reaction that leads to the release of active oxygen. SANISHIELD H202 is indicated for cleaning plants, surfaces, and equipment.
SANISHIELD OH
it is a ready-to-use hydroalcoholic solution, highly effective and multi-hygiene, provided by the association of a high concentration of ethyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. Uniform distribution is recommended using a clean and dry cloth. Leaves no trace on the treated surface. SANISHIELD OH is indicated for hospital environments and surface sanitizing. Before applying, check the compatibility of the surfaces to be treated with products containing alcohol and oxidizing agents. The product is ready to use and requires no diluting.
ELETTROCLEAN
An innovative technology, it allows application of a highly sanitizing, hydrogen peroxide-based product with unsurpassed effectiveness. Thanks to a special nozzle equipped with an electrode and nano-nebulizing, the decontaminant can be applied using the electrostatic charge. This leads to extraordinary effectiveness.
The charge produces a natural force of attraction between the droplets of nebulized product and the treated surface (the same principle that makes a balloon stick to a wool jumper). The charge acting on the drops is small, but the force that connects the spray jet to the surface is up to 75 times greater than the force of gravity. This means that the drops are attracted by the surface in every direction with an effect called “electrostatic winding”. In practical terms, this means that the jet easily and quickly reaches every side of the surface treated with a sanitizing effectiveness that has never been seen before.
IBIX DRY FOG
Sanitizing treatment using special IBIX DRY FOG micronized nebulizing technology with hydrogen peroxide-based biocide solution. The special fog diffused by the dispensers equipped with special, specifically positioned micronizing nozzles spreads the sanitizing material without droplets that could leave surfaces wet.
The IBIX DRY FOG dispenser, located at the top of a telescopic rod, may be equipped with 1 to 4 special nozzles. The flow rate of the nozzles can be adjusted using the pressure regulator on the device. The DRY FOG system equipped with a regulator to a nozzle, sanitizes an air volume of 150-2400 m3. With four nozzles can cover an indicative volume from 600 m3 to 9600 m3.

PROTECTION
IBIX BIOSHIELD has advanced technology for the protection and antimicrobial coating of the surfaces. After decontamination, it is important to ensure adequate protection of the surface treated so that does not promote further contamination and is easily sanitized.
I-Protect AM
Fluoropolymer oleo-hydrophobic impregnating agent with antimicrobial action. I-Protect AM does not create a film, allowing the base material to breathe, while being both oil and water-repellent and antimicrobial. In this manner, both chemical and biological contaminants do not stick to the surface, making it immune to new infestations, stains, graffiti, and damage caused by water absorption for a long period of time.
POLYFUSION AM
POLYFUSION AM was specifically designed to provide a flame-applied and long-term coating applied to concrete and other porous surfaces where a finish with antimicrobial properties is required. It is based on an acid-modified polyolefin alloy; it is also free of halogens, and flue gases, and toxicity levels deriving from possible fires are very low. POLYFUSION AM is resistant to breaking stresses, unfavourable atmospheres and weather conditions, disinfecting cleaners (even chlorine-based), saline mist, and typical polluting agents present in the atmosphere. The coating ensures excellent adhesion properties as well as good resistance to impacts and abrasion.
